By completing a form or contacting us via any other means including but not limited to Telephone, Web Chat, or in person you consent to receiving communications from us via Email, WhatsApp, telephone call or any other communications means required to provide you with requested information.

1.1 When making an online enquiry using any of our website forms, we will collect your contact information which includes your name, email address, your city/town and phone number;

1.2 When making a purchase with AUTOMATE DIGITAL (PTY) LTD, we will collect your contact information which includes your name, email address, phone number, and delivery address as well as your business information which includes your company name, billing address and VAT number. We will also collect information on the services we provided to you which includes what product you purchased, when and where the purchase took place and the amount you paid;

1.3 Information about the device used to access our website (such as the make, browser and IP address) as well as user behaviour on how you use our website.

AUTOMATE DIGITAL (PTY) LTD will not disclose your personal information to any third party other than for the reasons set out below:

2.1 To our employees and/or third-party service providers who assist us in processing orders, delivering items to you and processing refunds;

2.2 To law enforcement, government officials, fraud detection agencies or other third parties when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of personal information is necessary to comply with the law or any legal processes, prevent fraud, abuse or misuse of our website and to prevent financial loss.

2.3 Our website uses third party services such as Google Analytics. These third-party services do not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage.

2.4 We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behaviour and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf.

2.5 Ozzow processes all credit card transactions therefore they receive your payment details from you. The information they collect includes payment method, purchase amount, date of purchase, and payment method information. Ozzow is 3D Secure and a PCI Compliant operator for credit card or any card processing.

AUTOMATE DIGITAL (PTY) LTD makes use of cookies which are small text files that are transferred to your device when you visit our website. These files do not contain personal information rather a personal identifier which allows us to associate your personal information with a specific device.   • Helps makes the website usable by enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies;

  • Helps us to identify repeat visitors and facilitate the visitors on-going access to the website;
